I’m so sorry to hear of your loss Sherrill and Criss Jill and Justin and of course Glenelle’s family. My heart goes out to you all. If I could use one word to describe Avanelle, it would be on word “classy lady”. She will be truly missed.

So very sorry for your loss Sherrill and Criss, Jill and Justin and for Aaron and Jared Kruse and all your families. Avanelle was a very special person and an Icon in Glenwood. Luckily I used to go to the same beauty shop she did for years and got to partake in her “Famous” chocolate cake and other delites. She was a person that enhanced and touched a lot of our lives by her spirit, her giving and her love of cooking. May her memories bring you comfort at this time. If at any time we can provide assistance, please let us know. Love to you all.

    Sherrill, Chriss and family,

Sorry to read this news of Avanelle’s passing. I worked for Fern Clark in her beauty shop in Glenwood many years ago and I did Avanelle’s hair. Not only was she a very nice lady but she always impressed me with her style and manner. She was a classy lady. And back in those days when tipping wasn’t done much, Avanelle always left me a tip. My deepest sympathy to all. Pat Mercer, Emerson, IA.
