David Leroy Baker, 65 of Pacific Junction, IA entered into eternal rest on September 8, 2015 at Golden Living Care Center in Plattsmouth, NE. He was born on April 24, 1950 to Jess & Lois Baker in Council Bluffs, IA.
David was a concrete finisher for 33 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed playing sports and following his children and grandchildren in their sporting events. David loved spending time with his family, grandchildren & friends.
Preceding David in passing were his parents, siblings, Alfred & Jack. Survivors include his children, David L. & wife Nancy Baker of Logan, IA; Shantel Baker of Glenwood, IA; Jay Durfey of Red Cloud, NE; several step-children; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one on the way; sister, Judy & husband Frank Burcaw of Bellevue, NE; numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Interment will be at a later date.
