Everett R. Stouder, 89, of Randolph, Iowa, entered into eternal rest on May 9, 2008 at Tabor Manor in Tabor, Iowa. Everett was born November 15, 1918 to Roswell and Myrtle (Dickerson) Stouder in Pacific Junction, Iowa. He was one of four children, three boys and one girl.

His family moved to a farm south of Pacific Junction. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Hopp on February 7, 1942 in Rockport, Missouri. They moved to a farm near Hastings, Iowa, where their first son, Gary, was born in August of 1945. Following Gary’s birth, they moved to a farm north of Emerson, where they resided for eight years. In 1952, their second son, Larry, was born. The family later moved to a farm south of Glenwood and then to a farm south of Malvern where they lived for twenty-one years until moving to Randolph, Iowa.

Everett enjoyed his many years of farming. He served on the F.H.A. Committee for several years. He also served on the Randolph City Council. Everett enjoyed camping and took the grandchildren on several trips. He was also blessed with nine great-grandchildren and loved spending time with his family.

Preceding Everett in death were his parents, son Gary Stouder in 1990, and brother-in-laws; Walt Thomas and Paul Hopp. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Dorothy Stouder of Randolph, Iowa; son; Larry and wife Linda Stouder of Randolph, Iowa; daughter-in-law; Yvonne Stouder of Glenwood, Iowa; five grandchildren; Bret and wife Tanya Stouder, Chad and wife Tina Stouder, Jamie and husband Doug Driskell, Nicole Stouder and fianc̩ Chris Nolan and Nate Stouder; nine great-grandchildren; brothers; Floyd and wife Phyllis Stouder of Omaha, NE; Fay and wife Therlene Stouder of Pacific Junction, IA; sister; Marge Thomas of Omaha, NE; brother-in-law; John and wife Le Hopp of Plattsmouth, NE; sister-in-laws; Marge and husband Cletis Haynie of Red Oak, IA; Janet Hopp of Earlham, IA; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and a host of friends.
