Galen Duane Hopkinson, 75 of Glenwood, Iowa formerly of Pacific Junction, Iowa passed away December 10, 2018 in Glenwood. He was born on August 16, 1943 to Victor Orville and Evelyn Joy (Pickinpaugh) Hopkinson.
Galen served his country in United State Navy until he was medically discharged. He did various odd jobs until his health no longer permitted. Preceding Galen in passing were his parents; brother, Victor Vance and sister, Marcia Williams. Survivors include his children Galen and Tracy; sister, Valerie (Neal) DeLashmutt of Pacific Junction, Iowa; extended relatives, Donna, Brenda, Dena, Kenneth, Nicholas, Greg and Jeff.

I came to know Galen at Glen Haven. He always had a joke or a funny comment and was such a joy to know! Rest in peace sir, I’m glad I had the pleasure of knowing you.
