John Edwin Thorson, 69, of Glenwood, IA, entered into eternal rest on June 16, 2006 in Council Bluffs, IA. He was born June 25, 1936 in Omaha, NE to Edwin and Bertha (Crabtree) Thorson. John was raised in Emerson. He was united in marriage to Jane Eleanor Enarson on June 4, 1973 near Springfield, MO.
John was employed with V.A. Hospital as a lab technician in Omaha, NE until his health no longer permitted. He enjoyed talking to his friends on the Ham Radio using his call number of (K0JET), setting off fireworks with his family and he loved his cat. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving John are his wife Jane Thorson of Glenwood, IA; daughters: Kristy Jensen of Glenwood, IA; Joanna Thorson of Glenwood, IA; grandchildren; Myles and Terra Jensen both of Glenwood, IA, and a host of friends.
