Lewis “Toby” Lopez Fisher, 75 of Pacific Junction, IA entered into eternal rest on Aug. 7, 2012 in Glenwood, IA. He was born Jan. 18, 1937 in Pacific Junction, IA to Lewis L. & Hannah (Hostetter) Fisher.
Toby graduated from Pacific Junction High School in 1954 and entered the Army on July 19, 1954 in the 101st Airborne. He was honorably discharged in 1957. Toby was employed with several packing houses in Omaha, NE. He was also a resident treatment worker at the Glenwood Resource Center. Toby was united in marriage to Charlotte Maxine Kibbey on Dec. 7, 1991 in Pacific Junction, IA. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing and trapping. Toby also liked going to the horse and dog races.
Preceding Toby in death were his parents. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Fisher of Pacific Junction, IA; children, Deborah Fisher of San Tan Valley, CA; Erin Boone of Glenwood, IA: Nathaniel Johnson of TX; step-daughter, Jan Gruber of Omaha, NE; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Diana & husband Keith Asmussen of Encinitas, CA; Nola Jean Poklitar of Ames, IA: Timothy Fisher of NM; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many friends.
A memorial fund has been established.
Interment will be held in the Glenwood Cemetery.

I will always cherish the years working with Toby at State School. He was always good for a joke, and aways protective of the female staff. Rest In Peace, Toby.
