Loraine Mae (Pollitt) Keith, 86 of Glenwood, IA passed away Aug. 21, 2015 at Linnwood Estates in Glenwood, IA. She was born June 7, 1929 in Strahan, IA to Robert Louis and Zora Fae (Moore) Pollitt. Following her education, she was united in marriage to Dwight Keith on June 24, 1945. To this union three children were born, Kenneth, Richard and Karen. The family lived on a farm near Silver City, IA until moving to Glenwood in 1966. Dwight and Loraine enjoyed many camping trips over the years and loved being with their children and grandchildren. Loraine was an avid reader and liked playing cards. She also took many trips with the Heritage Club. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Glenwood.
Preceding Loraine in death were her parents, husband Dwight in 2004 and siblings, Doris Wray and Meredith “Bud” Pollitt. Survivors include her children, Kenneth (Connie) Keith of Omaha, NE; Richard (Frances) Keith of Sioux City, IA; Karen (Gordon) Reinert of Glenwood, IA; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Helen (Clarence, Jr.) Boles of Glenwood, IA; Dorothy Keith of CO; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many friends.
Interment will be held in the Glenwood Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Glenwood Public Library or Mills County Relay for Life.
