Phyllis Marie Franke, 86 of Glenwood, Iowa formerly of Silver City, Iowa, entered into eternal rest on Oct. 7, 2006 in Glenwood, Iowa. She was born May 2, 1920 in Silver City, Iowa to William & Ethel (Baker) Williams.
Phyllis was united in marriage to Glen Herman Franke on June 8, 1938 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. To this union two sons were born, Rolland and DeWayne. In 1941, Glen and Phyllis moved near Silver City where they farmed for many years.
Preceding Phyllis in death were her parents, husband and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons; Rolland and wife Luella Franke of Glenwood, IA; DeWayne & wife Viola Franke of Houston, TX; 2 grandsons: Delwyn & wife Lisa Franke & their children, Kristen, Deren and Kaitlyn of Omaha, NE; Derrick Franke of Houston, TX; sister; Ilene & husband Don Spetman of Red Oak, IA; brothers; Arnold & wife Wanda Williams and Darrell & wife Bonnie Williams both of Henderson, IA; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
