Robert E. Harris, Sr., 70, of Pacific Junction, Iowa, entered into eternal rest on Aug. 5, 2009 at his home in Pacific Junction. He was born June 14, 1939 in Iowa City, Iowa to William & Sylvia (Kizzier) Harris.
Robert was employed with Harrah’s Casino for many years in the Environmental Service Department. He thoroughly enjoyed all of the people he met during this time. Robert also enjoyed spending time with his family.
Preceding Robert in death were his parents, son and daughter-in-law, Robert E. Harris, Jr. and Marsha Harris and brother, Jack Harris. He is survived by Velda Harris of Pacific Junction, Iowa; children, Joseph & Jacqueline Harris of Omaha, Nebraska; Ricky & Pamela Harris of Memphis, Tennessee; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, William Harris, Jr.; extended relatives and a host of friends.
