Robert W. “Bob” Plummer, 81, of Glenwood, Iowa, entered into eternal rest on September 27, 2009 at his home in Glenwood, Iowa. He was born to Guy W. and Reba A. (Hamilton) Plummer on February 10, 1928 in Walthill, Nebraska.
Bob faithfully served his country in the Navy See Bees and was a Machine Mate 3rd Class. He was a member of the Kiwanis, American Legion and Masonic Lodge. He was united in marriage to Neva McClure on July 10, 1948 in Malvern, Iowa. Bob enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and visiting with family and friends.
Preceding Bob in death were his parents, wife Neva in 1998, brother, Gerald Plummer, nephew, Gordon Plummer, niece, Robin Plummer, sister-in-law, Thelma Allensworth, brother-in-laws, Charles & Wayne McClure. He is survived by his brothers, Wallace & wife Alice Plummer of Blair, NE; Gail & wife Karen Plummer of Atlantic, IA; brother-in-law, James & wife Cathy McClure of Malvern, IA; many nieces, nephews and special friend, Cally Boatwright of Pacific Junction, IA.
