Tammy Colleen Weilage

Tammy Colleen Weilage, 38 of Glenwood, IA was born on September 22, 1974 in Council Bluffs, IA to John & Debbie (Ashley) Turner. Following graduation from high school, she met and married the love of her life, Troy William Weilage on April 18, 1999 on the 50-yard line on the University of Nebraska football field.

Their marriage was blessed with four children, Jasmine, Jacob, Haley and Sierra. Tammy provided in home daycare for many children throughout the years and loved each of them as she did her own. She was known as a second mother to them.

Tammy had put together a team with all of her children to walk in the Relay for Life in years past. She had commented that her daycare wasn’t work it was like family, which she thoroughly enjoyed each day. Tammy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceding Tammy in death was her mother, Debbie Ashley. She is survived by her husband, Troy Weilage of Glenwood, IA; children, Jasmine Buhr of Bellevue, NE; Jacob Weilage, Haley Weilage and Sierra Weilage all of Glenwood, IA; father, John Turner of IA; extended relatives and many friends.

Intement will be held in the Glenwood Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Relay for Life.

    I’m so sorry Tammy was one of my best friends growing up. She lived down street we went all the way through. School. My prayers go out to her family.
