As we got to know Vera, she grew in our hearts. While Orville was the storyteller, Vera was the dry wit. Her comments made us laugh. So we always sought her out, talking to her first so she’d know who we were (since her vision wasn’t that keen), we encouraged her to show affection with that gentle punch to the arm. Heaven is going to be a little more lively now that Vera is there. We are sorry for your loss, but we will never forget our friendship. Wish we’d asked her more about her early days and life in mills county.

Sorry to hear of Aunt Vera’s passing. I have fond memories of visiting her and Uncle Orville on their farm. She lived a full and beautiful life.
