William Henry “Bill” Lundy, Sr., 78, of Pacific Junction, Iowa entered into eternal rest on Dec. 3, 2010 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was born April 24, 1932 in Randolph, Iowa to Stephen & Viola Mae (Cooper) Lundy.

Bill faithfully served his country as a Sea Bee in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was united in marriage to Polsinia Antionette Garcia on April 10, 1954 in Newport, Rhode Island. They were blessed with four children, William, Jr., Debbie, David and Lorrie. Bill was employed with the City of Glenwood as a Street Maintenance Supervisor. He was member of the V.F. W. and American Legion. Bill enjoyed collecting antique lighters, woodworking and traveling.

Preceding Bill in death were his parents, sons, David Lundy in 2005 and William Lundy, Jr. in 2009 as well as three brothers. He is survived by his wife Peggy Lundy of Pacific Junction, Iowa; daughters, Debbie Lundy of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Lorrie Hansen of Kissimmee, Florida; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Bomer of Glenwood, Iowa; Lois Reeves of Red Oak, Iowa; Linda Moyer of Riverton, Iowa; brothers, Jim Lundy and Darrell Lundy both of Glenwood, Iowa, Duane Lundy of Fremont, Nebraska; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and a host of friends.
