Anna Christina (Boege) Mayberry, 98 of Glenwood, Iowa passed away March 13, 2025 in Glenwood. She was born April 12, 1926 in Keg Creek Township, Pottawattamie County, IA to Henry Peter Boege, Sr. and Hazel Catherine (Timm) Boege. Anna graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
She was united in marriage to Clifford Lyle Mayberry on February 27, 1946 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Anna was a secretary for the engineering and dietary departments at the Glenwood Resource Center. She enjoyed reading in her spare time.
Following the birth of her children she enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her family. She loved cooking for them and always made delicious meals for them every Sunday.
Preceding Anna in passing were her parents, husband, siblings Frances Goodman, Erma Jones, Martha Twaddle, JoAnne Behm William Boege and Henry Boege, Jr.
Survivors include her children, Lyle (Pam) Mayberry; Kathy (Pat) Anderson; Kevin (Kristel) Mayberry all of Glenwood, Iowa; Gary (Brenda) Mayberry of Olathe, Kansas; Connie (Danny) Brown of Glenwood, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; brother Merle (Fran) Boege of Oregon; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials have been designated to: Glenwood Volunteer Fire Association.

You have been a part of my life for almost 60 years, I could not have asked for a better Mother in Law or grandmother for my own boys and grandkids. I love and miss you so much.

Oh, I remember walking my dog past the house on Sunday mornings while she was cooking. I think ham was my favorite. She was a sweetheart.
