Benjamin “Bennie” Hunter

Benjamin Frank (Bennie) Hunter, 71 of Council Bluffs, IA entered into rest on March 27, 2014 in Missouri Valley, IA. He was born Jan. 22, 1943 in Pacific Junction, IA to Harry Charles & Anna Mae (Chapin) Hunter.

Bennie was employed as a meat cutter for MortensonÌøåÀå_s and Jim and DeanÌøåÀå_s until his retirement. He loved to ride motorcycles and was a wonderful cook.

Preceding Bennie in death was his mother, Anna Mae Hunter and brother Don Hunter. Survivors include his father, Harry Hunter of Harbor City, CA; children, Michael (Angie) Hunter of Council Bluffs, IA; Tim (Anne-Marie) Hunter of Omaha, NE; Nikki (Chip) Helget of KS; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Harry (Rosetta) Hunter, Jr. of Calico Rock, AR; Nancy (Roger) McIntosh of Atchison, KS; good friend, Robin Stowe; extended relatives and many friends.

Interment will be held in the Martin Chapel Cemetery, Pacific Junction, IA.

A memorial fund has been established.
