Bernard Stanek, 76 of Glenwood, Iowa formerly of Omaha, Nebraska passed away June 23, 2022 in Omaha. He was born September 13, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois to Boseslaw George and Ann J. (Kois) Stanek.
Bernie faithfully served his country in the Air Force from 1963 to 1968. Bernie was united in marriage to Irene Kazimiera Pozela-Stanek on April 14, 2001 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was employed with Bluffs Toyota in Bellevue as a finance manager and then Pay Pal as a fraud investigator until his retirement.
Preceding Bernie in passing were his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Survivors include his wife Irene, close neighbors and friends.
Memorial donations may be directed to Holy Rosary Church in Glenwood.
