There will be open visitation at the Peterson Mortuary and prior to the service at the First Christian Church, Glenwood, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mills County Public Health, Glenwood Public Library or First Christian Church, Glenwood, Iowa.

Betty L. (Baayen) Prose- Leutzinger, 83, of Glenwood, Iowa, entered into eternal rest on Nov. 19, 2008 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was born Feb. 26, 1925 in Westcliffe, Colorado to Arthur J. & Bessie (Gray) Baayen. Betty was raised in Des Moines.
Betty was united in marriage to Thomas Prose in May of 1944. To this union three children were born, Pat, Linda and Tim. The family resided in Des Moines until Tom passed away in 1954 and the family relocated to Glenwood. Betty later married Edward Leutzinger in Feb. of 1962. To this union two children were born, Scott and Kris. Betty enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her family. She loved watching her children and grandchildren in all of the activities they participated in throughout the years. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Glenwood and belonged to the O.D.O. card club. Along with playing cards, she enjoyed playing dominos and crocheting.
Preceding Betty in death were her parents, husbands Thomas Prose and Edward Leutzinger; and several brother and sister-in-laws. She is survived by her children, Linda & Del Henrikus of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Pat and Mike Wray of Elmwood, Nebraska; Kris and Marv Iles of Glenwood, Iowa; Tim Prose of Rockford, Illinois; Scott and Julie Leutzinger of Glenwood, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brother, Clarence Baayen of Des Moines, Iowa; brother-in-laws, Bob and wife Bonnie Prose of Bloomfield, Iowa; Sheldon Leutzinger of Albuquerque, New Mexico; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and a host of friends.
