Interment will be held in the Glenwood Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Grace United Methodist Church or Glenwood Public Library.
Clifton Eugene Kelly, 90, of Glenwood, IA entered into eternal rest on Oct. 21, 2011 in Council Bluffs, IA. He was born June 10, 1921 in Mills County, IA to Clifford & Mildred (Slaughter) Kelly. Eugene graduated from Glenwood High School in 1939. He was united in marriage to Wilma Winnifred Klein on June 12, 1960 in Hamburg, IA. To this union two children were born, John Eugene and Laura Ellen.
Eugene was employed with NAPA as a parts manager for many years. He also worked for General Motors and Chevrolet. Eugene was a faithful member of Grace United Methodist Church and was also a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending their activities. Eugene was a talented woodworker and an avid reader. His family will forever treasure the memories they shared together.
Preceding Eugene in death were his parents. He is survived by his wife, Wilma Kelly of Glenwood, IA; son, John Eugene Kelly of La Crosse, WI; Laura & husband Pat Lambert and their sons, Lucas and Samuel all of Glenwood, IA: sister, Ruth & husband Warren Robertson of Council Bluffs, IA: extended relatives and many friends.
