Carolyn Sue (Oswald) Savage, 70 of Malvern, IA formerly of Pacific Junction, IA entered into rest at her home in Malvern, IA on Jan. 29, 2017. She was born Nov. 13, 1946 in Pacific Junction, IA to Harold & Agnes (Harris) Oswald. Carolyn was united in marriage to Hollis Savage on March 7, 1997. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was employed as a bartender at the Glass Front Bar in Council Bluffs, IA until her retirement.
Preceding Carolyn in passing were her parents, husband Hollis Savage on Jan. 25, 2000, brothers, Champ Oswald and Sammy Oswald. Survivors include her children, Tammy Besta of Omaha, NE; Tim (Darlene) Brown of Glenwood, IA; grandchildren, Starlae Hein, Amber Hansen, Allissa Kawecki, Trevor Brown & Jared Besta; great-grandchildren, Jamiee Hein & Maximus Hansen; siblings, Helena Hershey, Shari Teegarden, Angela Howie, Donnie Oswald & Willard Oswald, Sr.; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many friends.
