Charles Lee Fisher who was 84 years old, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on October 20, 2022. He was born in Pacific Junction Iowa on August 28, 1938 to Abraham Lincoln and Linnie Elizabeth (Wrinkle) Fisher. He resided in and went to school in the Pacific Junction area and later in Glenwood. He was united in marriage to Roberta Lee Dreamer on Thanksgiving Day of 1959 in Reno, Nevada. To this union were 3 children, Kristina Lynn, Johnnie Leon and Michael Lee.
Lee served 4 years in the Navy aboard the U.S.S. Ranger. During this service he made many tours to Japan and Hong Kong. He then worked in the packing house for several years before beginning his employment with the CB&Q Railroad where an accident caused him to take an early retirement.
Lee then bought a farm in Missouri where he lived for 30 years. He enjoyed gardening where his pride was having a large watermelon patch. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling to visit his friends and Navy buddies, and making handmade knives for everyone he knew.
In 2012 Lee was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma Cancer. He was very positive about this diagnosis and lived his life to the fullest every day. In March of 2020 his health and battle with cancer made a move to town necessary and eventually back to Council Bluffs to be near family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Abe and Linnie, Brothers Abe Jr., Clarence and Leon and sisters Alvah Ann, Viola and Dorothy and Granddaughter Krystal Nicole
Lee is survived by his wife Roberta, Children Kris (John) Sulentic, Johnnie (Linda) Fisher and Mike Fisher and Grandchildren Kyle (Lyndsie) Sulentic, Amy (Travis) Mitchell, Justin (Grace) Fisher, Caleb Venglar, and Alyx Fisher, Great Grandchildren Baylie and Amelia Sulentic, Everett, Samuel and Oliver Mitchell, Ezekiel Fisher, Sister Sally Fisher, Brother John (Linda) Fisher, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Interment: Martin Chapel Cemetery, rural Pacific Junction, Iowa.
