Costa Louise (Godsey) Gaasvig

Costa Louise Gaasvig, 76 of Glenwood, Iowa passed away February 7, 2024 at her home in rural Pacific Junction, Iowa. She was born on October 23, 1947 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to James Kane and Gayle Julianne (Schroeder) Godsey.

Costa was united in marriage to Glenn Gaasvig on April 23, 1981 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was employed as a travel agent with Utell for many years. Glenn and Costa did extensive traveling and she enjoyed reading as well as being up to date on current events.  Her grandchildren brought her so much joy and she loved spending time with her family.

Preceding Costa in passing were her parents. Survivors include her loving husband Glenn Gaasvig of Pacific Junction, Iowa; children Jamie (Dave) McEvoy of Omaha, Nebraska; Erik (Carrie) Gaasvig of Omaha, Nebraska; grandchildren Ian, Ashley, David, Jr., Daniel, Gage and Colt; sisters Georgia (Darrol) Joy of Pacific Junction, Iowa; Julie (Jim) Sanders of Ogallala, Nebraska; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
