Kindest Regards,
Dan was a super person and always a pleasure to be around. Our heartfelt condolences go out to all of the Doocys. They are a great family and have always been good to us. Our thoughts are with you.
I am so sad. I’ve been praying for peace for the Doocy family. YEARS ago, Dan took me to the best concert ever, Bruce Springsteen in Lincoln! That was back in the days when you had to camp out ahead of time to get tickets. Whenever I go to a concert now, and see all these wimpy performers take breaks every half hour, I think about how Bruce Springsteen ROCKED all night! Bruce set the bar pretty high for me! And Dan set the bar high for being a good friend. He will be missed. God bless you Doocy family with each other and friends as you celebrate your son and brother. Peace.
My heart goes out to the entire Doocy family. You and Dan have been such a special part of my life. I have so many fun memories with Dan in Glenwood and Iowa City. I will treasure my many memories and always be thankful for our last talk, and how he was still making me laugh! I hope the love and support of friends and family comforts you during this difficult time. Milton and I both send our love and prayers.
Sending our deepest sympathy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Doocy Family during this time of loss.
Sorry for your loss
Our condolences to the family.
It is a very sad day for me. Dan has crossed my mind many a days for the past 18-20 years and I finally took a moment to search for him and came across his obituary and it took me me back a moment. I knew Dan from Arlington Park Racr Track where he was the padock manager and I was a paramedic that chased the ponies around the track. He was a bright spot to my day and always seen with a smile on his face. What a really true gentleman, good friend and fun date. I will miss you.
