    Dear Emma and Henry,

I am so sad for your loss. Your mother was a lovely person and I am glad I knew her. She was so gentle with the Northeast students when she worked here. She always just lit up whenever I asked about the two of you and she was so proud to tell me about your interests and activities. You will certainly miss her. I am sending you thoughts of peace and healing. You are in my heart.

    Love,

    Mrs. Finken

To the family of Ms. Diane Gray:

I would like to express my condolences to you for the loss of your mother and sister. It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love. But during this time, God’s Word, the Bible, provides words of comfort. It teaches that the time will come when Jesus Christ will resurrect untold numbers of people back to life here on earth, after God has restored it back to the paradise that He originally created it to be. What joy you will feel when you are reunited with your dear loved one, Diane. Once again, I express my deepest sympathy.
