Donald “Butch” Woodrow Pulsifer, 78 of Glenwood, Iowa entered into rest on June 10, 2017 in Glenwood. He was born on July 25, 1938 to Woodrow Justin and Eunice (Shutts) Pulsifer in Glenwood, Iowa. Butch graduated from Glenwood High School in 1956. He faithfully served his country in the Navy for twenty years. He was united in marriage to Nancy Ann Alff on January 10, 1963 in Glenwood. To this union three daughters were born, LeAnn, Linda and Lana. Butch worked with his father at the Glenwood Lumber Company and then for United Farmers Mercantile as a sales representative until his retirement. He was a member of the Glenwood American Legion Post 141 and had volunteered for Glenwood Fire and Rescue. In earlier years, Butch enjoyed coon hunting with his dad. He also bowled, played horse shoes and pool. He had a passion for fishing and dancing. He was a devoted husband and family man.
Preceding Butch in passing were his parents, sister, Jacquline Wright; sister-in-law, Wanda Alff; brothers-in-law, Jerry Wright, John Lincoln, Robert Myers and Garland Alff; niece, Bonita Comacho and nephew, Jason Jinings. Survivors include his wife Nancy Pulsifer of Glenwood, Iowa; daughters, LeAnn (Scott) Konfrst of Glenwood, Iowa; Linda Neppl (Kirk Liles) of Pacific Junction, Iowa; Lana (Robert) Ruth of Glenwood, Iowa; 11 Grandchildren; 10 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great Grandchildren; siblings, Joyce (Don) Cashatt of Red Oak, Iowa; Jeanne Lincoln of Glenwood, Iowa; Jeri Lynn (Robert) Daniels of Council Bluffs, Iowa; sisters-in-law, Betty (Weston) Gray of Visalia, California; LaLonnie Alff of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; brother-in-law, Ray Alff of Buffalo, Missouri; many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
Interment will be held in the Glenwood Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Legion Post 141 or Glenwood Fire and Rescue.

Don was one of the nicest. caring, and greatest friends that we’ve
had over the years. {46 years since we met}. Time goes by so fast.
The world will be a little less bright without Don and we know that his Golden Name is written in the Golden Book of God.
