Donna Marie Smith, 90 of Glenwood, Iowa formerly of Evanston, Wyoming passed away February 23, 2024. She was born February 5, 1934 in Madison, South Dakota.
In earlier years, Donna was an Activity Director in a nursing home. She was a homemaker and also a very hard worker. Donna loved to golf, sew, bake and was a wonderful cook. Her children commented they couldn’t have had a better mother.
Preceding Donna in passing were her parents and daughter Vicky Hanson. Survivors include her children John Hanson of Omaha, Nebraska; Sally (Chuck) Van Doren of Hastings, Iowa; Holly (Brad) Roseling of California; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.
Graveside services are planned to be held at Lewis Township Cemetery, rural Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Memorial donations may be directed to the family.
