Douglas Clark Kadel, 64, of Omaha, NE entered into eternal rest on June 5, 2012 at the V.A. Hospital in Omaha. He was born July 12, 1947 in Fergus Falls, MN to Earl Emerson & Katherine (Murzyn) Kadel.
Doug faithfully served his country in the Army during Vietnam. He was united in marriage to Rebecca Rogers on September 10, 1983 in Omaha, NE. The couple resided in Omaha where he was employed as a carpenter until his retirement.
Preceding Doug in death were his parents and sister, Linda Kadel Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Rogers) Kadel of Omaha, NE; children, Racheal & Mike Scott; Jamie & Jill Kadel; Shelly Geyer & Todd Williams all of Oakland, IA; Sean Young & Pam Winkler of Riverside, CA; Ian & Kelly Young of Houston, TX; Tim & Riki Kadel of Mitchellville, IA; several grandchildren; sisters, Gail Goedeker and Jerry Beebe of Omaha, NE; Lana & Don Duysen of Glenwood, IA; aunt, Opal Gage of Emerson, IA; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many friends.
