Elizabeth J. “Bette” Stolarz, 88, passed away May 8, 2012 at the Peaks Care Center in Longmont, Colorado. She was born October 21, 1923 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Forrest and Bessie (Walker) Smith.
As a child Bette moved to Malvern, Iowa with her family where she grew up.
Preceding Bette in death were her two grandchildren, Ryan Lee Montoya and Todd Matthew Konfrst.
She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn (Richard) Montoya of Longmont, Colorado and Donetta (Mike) Konfrst both of Glenwood, Iowa; two grandchildren, Lori (Mike) Malcom and Scott (LeAnn) Konfrst both of Glenwood, Iowa; six great-grandchildren, AJ, Taylor and Katie Konfrst, Matt & Mason Malcom, and Emily Swinford; and one great-great grandchild, Hanna Swinford.
Private Graveside services will be held in the Malvern Cemetery, Malvern, Iowa.
