Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at Glen Haven Home prior to a Graveside Service at 11:00 a.m. at the Glenwood Cemetery for Evelyn Irene (Lincoln) Hogan who passed away July 30, 2017 at Glen Haven Home. She was born on Dec. 17, 1949 to Wayne Elmer and Bernett Irene (Salven) Lincoln in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Evelyn worked in the Missouri School Systems in Systems and Maintenance and Food Service. She relocated to Glenwood a year ago from Belton, Missouri. She was affiliated with the Trinity Lutheran Church. Evelyn enjoyed politics and campaigned for Terry Branstad with his first election for Governor in the late 1960’s. He referred to her as “Abe”. She also had a passion for sports and worked with many students in that capacity in the high school in which she was employed.
Evelyn was preceded in passing by her parents and infant brother. Survivors include first cousins, Richard Lincoln and Jeanne Lincoln of Glenwood, Iowa; extended relatives and many friends.

She was a great a woman who we adopted as a mother. She was always there when needed her.she never children of her own but she had a lot of adopted people and called her own kids. We will miss her deep.
A personal note to Richard thanks for sending her funeral card saying she died we would love to come. You know more would have come who loved her. I hope you died so lonely that noone cares to come. I hope your family know you were an asshole to evelyn and cared only for her money.
