Ferna Mae Sletten, 96, of Glenwood, Iowa, formerly of Bottineau, N.D., entered into eternal rest on May 23, 2006 in Glenwood, Iowa. She was born on a farm near Landa, N.D. June 30, 1909 to Christ and Mary Korman. She was united in marriage to Richard M. Sletten on July 17, 1929 in Bottineau, N.D. To this union one son Richard was born.
She lived her life in Bottineau as a housewife, moving to Glenwood, IA in 2002 to live with her son Richard, JR. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard, daughter-in-law, Ina, 7 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her son Richard Sletten of Glenwood, IA; 3 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 2 great-granddaughters, and one great-grandson. Interment will be at the Oak Creek Cemetery in Bottineau, N.D.
