Florence Evelyn Elrod, 83 of Tabor, Iowa passed away January 30,2016 at Tabor Manor. She was born July 16, 1932 in Red Oak, Iowa to Herbert and Florence (Briggs) Goodman. She was united in marriage to Donald Elrod in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was employed at a resident treatment worker at the Glenwood Resource Center until her retirement.
Preceding Evelyn in passing were her parents, husband, son, Mark Ballain, daughter, Cynthia Barnhart and brother, Homer Goodman. Survivors include her children, Cecil Ballain of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Rebecca and husband Donald Frieze of Tabor, Iowa; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Brent Goodman of Athens, Georgia, extended relatives and friends.
Evelyn has been cremated and there will be no services at this time.
Interment will be at a later date.
