Frances Marlene (Wiese) Wolfe, 75 of LaVista, NE formerly of Glenwood, IA entered into rest on June 5, 2014 in Red Oak, IA. She was born July 18, 1938 in Harlan, IA to Herb & Cecil Grace (Snyder) Wiese. Following her education, she was united in marriage to Edwin Dwight Wolfe on May 25, 1957 in Glenwood, IA. To this union four daughters were born, Tamara, Julie, Sandra & Amie. Frances loved being a homemaker and was very involved in her daughter’s activities. She was on the P.T.A. was a Girl Scout Leader & 4-H Leader. Frances also enjoyed crafts, crocheting, knitting, canning, camping, hunting, fishing & her cats. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Preceding Frances in death were her parents: sisters, Goldie, Shirley & May Dean. Survivors include her devoted husband, Ed Wolfe of LaVista, NE; daughters, Tamara Killion (Larry Hargens) of Red Oak, IA; Julie Hoisington of Lansing, MI; Sandra (Raymond) Hunter of Springfield, NE; Amie (Robert) Mummert of Ralston, NE; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Horst-Beene of Hayward, CA; nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many friends.
Interment will be held at the Glenwood Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established.

My sincere condolences. My thoughts & prayers are with Amie & her family.
I am so sorry for your loss! I have just had back fusion surgery. And am not able to walk very well at this point. We were just talking about getting together with you two for dinner sometime after my recovery. So sorry!

Uncle Eddy and family Aunt Fran will greatly be missed by all. We have had happy times and sad times. Remember the happy times we had with her. She gone but no forgotten forever. Always in are hearts she will be.
