Genevieve Carol Farley

Genevieve Carol Farley, 80 of Glenwood, Iowa passed away at her home on February 23, 2022. She was born July 15, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio to John Bickley and Arlene Cleo (Galloway) Freeman.

Carol was united in marriage to Gary Farley on December 19, 2004 in Glenwood, Iowa. The couple moved from Rockport, Missouri to Glenwood in 2002. Carol enjoyed gardening, working outside in her yard and reading her Bible. She and Gary opened their home to anyone who entered. There was always a snack basket and ice cream for any visitor to enjoy.

Preceding Carol in passing were her parents, infant sons Joseph and Richard; siblings Clinton, John, Richard, Rita, Joann and Rusty. Survivors include her loving husband Gary with whom she shared forty years of their time together; children Donald L. (Toni) Kramer of Florissant, Colorado; Arlene M. (Tom) Belt of Carter Lake, Iowa; Merrill (Maranda) Lawrence of Illinois; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings   Larry (Donna) Clouse of Ohio; Tom (Phyllis) Freeman of California; Laura Labrum of Utah; Georgene Salisbury of Florida; many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

Interment: Omaha National Cemetery, Omaha, Nebraska at a later date.
