Georgia Lee (Morrison) Daffron, 58 of Glenwood, IA, entered into eternal rest on July 1, 2012 at her home in Glenwood. She was born September 9, 1953 in Denver, CO to Eugene Albert and Beverly Sue (Nichols) Morrison. Georgia graduated from Glenwood High School with the Class of 1972. She was united in marriage to Oran Daffron on Aug. 21, 1980 in Glenwood, IA.
Georgia was employed with the Glenwood Resource Center as a Physical Therapist Assistant until her retirement in 2010. She was a member of the F.O.E and several bowling leagues throughout the years. She enjoyed planting flowers and being outdoors. Her grandchildren were all very special to her and she loved taking them bowling and spending time with them as much as possible. Georgia also had a good time going on shopping trips with her girlfriends. Her family shared that she was an awesome wife, mom and grandma. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Preceding Georgia in death was her sister, Norma Williams and grandson, Alex Roberts. She is survived by her husband Oran Daffron; children, Brandi & Todd Roberts; Jennie Roenfeld and Tony Teegarden; Courtney and Edwin Rogers; Erin Neal and Nick White all of Glenwood, IA; 12 grandchildren; parents, Gene and Sue Morrison of Glenwood, IA; siblings, John and Pam Morrison of Glenwood, IA; Patricia Wheeler of Langdon, ND; brother-in-law, Craig Williams of Glenwood, IA; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many friends.
A memorial fund has been established.
Interment will be held in the Glenwood Cemetery.

Georgia was one of a kind and she will be greatly missed. Words just can’t express how important her family and friends were to her.

I worked closely with Georgia for about 15 years…in the physical therapy department. Georgia was very caring to the people she worked with. I am thankful to have had her in my life during those years, as she made me laugh and appreciate”the moment”.. my condolences go out to her family, as I know that she will be deeply missed.
