Interment & Military Honors will be held in the Malvern Cemetery, Malvern, Iowa.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
Glenn Franklin Robbins, 81, of Malvern, Iowa, entered into eternal rest on May 15, 2011 at the Briarwood Health Center in Issaquah, Washington. He was born April 15, 1930 in Malvern, Iowa to Clinton & Cecile (Glenn) Robbins.
Glenn graduated from high school in Phoenix, Arizona in 1948 and later earned his Associate Degree from Iowa Western Community College. He faithfully served his country in the Army with the Engineer Depot Division during the Korean Conflict from 1950-1953. Glenn was united in marriage to Billie Ann Luft on Aug. 8, 1954. To this union two children were born, Jay Franklin and Beth Ann. Glenn enjoyed farming & raising livestock as well as operating Blue Grass Electronics. His interests included restoring cars, pick-ups & working on tractors as well as competing in pistol competitions.
Preceding Glenn in death were his parents and wife, Billie in 1988. He is survived by his children, Jay & wife Jody Robbins of Fountain, Florida; Beth Martin of Seattle, Washington; 4 grandchildren, Aubrey & husband Jason Davey; Christopher Ray & wife Ruth Robbins; Stephanie Martin; Scott Martin; great-grandchildren & many friends.

Jay & Jody and family, and Beth & family… I’m so sorry to hear about dad. I loved visiting with him when I worked at the drug store in town and seeing him drive around in his yellow mustang 🙂 You are in our thoughts, and prayers and have our deepest sympathy.
