Harold D. Smith  Omaha Age 89

July 12, 1933 – July 31, 2022

Harold Duane Smith, son of Clyde and Dorothy Smith was born in Audubon, Iowa on July 12, 1933. Harold attended school in Omaha, except for one year in Nebraska City. He graduated from Omaha Central High School in 1951. Harold served in the Navy for 8 years between 1951-1959. He continued his education at the Municipal University of Omaha (UNO), receiving his degree in 1959 in Business Administration.

Harold and Nancy Smith were married in Malvern, Iowa on June 13, 1964. Harold worked at the Haskins and Sells Accounting Firm, Happy Hollow Country Club and was a long-time employee of Immanuel Hospital.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Dorothy Smith; and his brother Lloyd Smith.

Harold is survived by his wife Nancy, brother Ron Smith and his wife Gloria; his daughter Pam Huss (Wes Tuveson) and his grandsons, Ryan, Ethan and Conner Huss; his daughter Paula Sinnett and son-in-law Kyle and his grandchildren Lindsey, Lucas and Landon Sinnett; his son, Dan Smith and daughter-in-law Janae Smith and grandchildren Lylee Bechtel, Jonah, Olivia and Elaine Smith; his daughter Patti Stuart and grandchildren Amber Baltaro (John) and Ashton Sibbitt.

Harold was a US Navy veteran of the Korean War and a long time employee of Immanuel Hospital in Omaha. He is survived by his wife Nancy Smith of Omaha and many other relatives and friends. 

Interment, Malvern Cemetery, Malvern, Iowa.
