Helen Mae (Lundy) Bomer, 89 of Glenwood, Iowa entered into rest on December 13, 2017 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Helen was born on March 27, 1928 in Fremont County to Stephen Henry and Viola Mae (Cooper) Lundy.
She was a homemaker and talented seamstress and made many matching dresses for she and Evonne Marie to wear. Helen used to go dancing in Plattsmouth at the Eagles Club. She enjoyed playing the guitar and organ. She loved watching the grandkids and great-grandkids who lovingly called her Grandma Great.
Preceding Helen in passing were her parents, siblings, Lois Reeves, Marvin Lundy, Darrell Lundy, Loren Lundy and an infant brother. Survivors include her children, Stephen Wayne Bomer of Glenwood, Iowa; Dennis Eugene (Patty) Bomer of Atlantic, Iowa; Evonne Marie (Jeff) Kates of Glenwood, Iowa; 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; siblings, Bob Lundy of California; Duane (Doris) Lundy of Fremont, Nebraska; Jim (Ruth) Lundy of Glenwood, Iowa; Linda Moyer of Riverton, Iowa; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many friends.
Memorials may be made to Tabor Manor.
