Henry E. “Hank” Timmerman, Jr., 82, of Sidney, IA formerly of Glenwood, IA entered into eternal rest on Oct. 24, 2011 at his home in Sidney. He was born Oct. 2, 1929 in Papillion, NE to Henry Edward Timmerman, Sr. & Velma Elizabeth (Foster) Timmerman.
Hank was united in marriage to Janice Lorraine Griffiths on April 19, 1958 in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. To this union three children were born, Patti, Vanessa and Monte. Hank was employed as a farmer and later became a cattle sales representative for several cattle commission firms. He enjoyed fishing and his horses. Hank was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Hamburg, IA.
Hank is survived by his wife, Jan Timmerman of Sidney, IA; children, Patti Timmerman Stites & husband Art Canright of Springhill, KS; Vanessa Timmerman & husband Noel Casebolt of Des Moines, IA: Monte Lee Timmerman of Colorado Springs, CO; 3 grandchildren, many heart adopted grandchildren, extended relatives and many friends.
