As a former employee of Jeff Porter, a good friend of Jim’s, I would like to send my condolences to the Keightley family. During the time that i was around Jim, there was never a dull moment. I remember him bringing Jeff an old 2 row John Deere planter to plant sweet corn at the shop, he was so excited to see it work. Jim could always bring a smile to my face. I still can see him out out on a lawn mower. Again, my condolences to the family. My thoughts and prayers are with the family, Cory Clark Hebron, NE FF/EMT 93-50

Jim was a great guy, and it was always a lot of fun to be around he and Joe. I remember quite well working with them as they were starting a Vietnam veterans chapter in Glenwood years ago. Jim deserves our admiration for his service to our country. May God bless his family in this time of sorrow.

Tami, words can not express how sorry I am. Jim will be missed by so many, he touched people’s lives more than he ever knew. I will remember him often as I will always be grateful for the things you two did to help my family. The friendship you gave to me during a hard time in my life, won’t go unrewarded. My boys still talk about the day of the monster trucks. It’s the memories that will last forever. Take care and always remember he is with you through it all.
