Janice F. “Jan” Langholz, 80 of Glenwood, Iowa passed away on December 23, 2018 in Glenwood. She was born on August 20, 1938 in Denison, Iowa to John William and Helen Louise (Lorenzen) Rademacker.
Jan was united in marriage to Donald H. Langholz on September 20, 1957 in Omaha, Nebraska. Their marriage was blessed with three children, Tim, Sherri and Lisa. Jan enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her family. She adored her animals and took them to obedience classes. Some of her pastimes were outings with her kids and granddaughter, collecting stuffed animals and Boyd’s Bears. She helped clean the Glenwood Community Church for many years. Her family and friends cherish the memories and will forever miss her.
Preceding Jan in passing were her parents, husband, brothers, Jim, John and Randy Rademacker. Survivors include her children, Tim Langholz; Sherri (Mark) Jacobsen; Lisa Jeska (Bob McAleer); granddaughter, Samantha Jacobsen all of Glenwood, Iowa; siblings, Marlyce Schraeder of Denison, Iowa; Sue Peters of Sussex, New Jersey; Carol Androy of Sacramento, California; Tookie Smith of Florida; Debbie Martin of Florida; Jeff Rademacker of Lincoln, Nebraska; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
Interment, Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood, Iowa.
Memorials may be directed to the family to be given to various animal charities.

Very sorry to hear of Jan’s passing.
Sandy worked with the State Farm office and knew Jan well. Jan was thought of as a very kind and wonderful person. She was a joy to visit with. Our Hearts and Prayers will always be with Jan’s Dear Family. God Bless

Just learned of Jan’s passing. I have the most wonderful memories of Jan and all of her dogs. I had the pleasure of grooming the dogs which gave me the opportunity to enjoy Jan’s kindness and positive attitude. She will be missed. Take care.
