Josephine M. (Bullard) Stille

INTERMENT: Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood, Iowa.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Glenwood, Iowa.

Josephine Mae (Bullard) Stille, 89, of Glenwood, Iowa, entered into eternal rest on Sept. 12, 2005 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was born Febr. 10, 1916 in Guthrie County, Iowa to Emil and Etta Mae (Benner) Natalte.

Josephine was united in marriage to George Arthur Stille on Aug. 25, 1971 in Union, NE. The couple had met in a toy store in Des Moines, Iowa, where George was purchasing gifts for his children and grandchildren. They made their home in Glenwood in 1978 and became members of the First Baptist Church. Josephine volunteered in the school system and helped many children as they read aloud to her. Clipping coupons for the library, enjoying an exquisite piece of chocolate, making the best pumpkin pie and peanut brittle, singing in the church choir and keeping everything neat as a pin, especially her own personal appearance were some of Josephine’s qualities. She loved her pets and had a special place in her heart for cats.

Preceding Josephine in death were her parents and two brothers. She is survived by her husband George A. Stille of Glenwood, Iowa; son Garry D. & wife Diane Bullard of Rapid City, South Dakota; grandson, Gregory Bullard of St. Paul, MN; brother, Bernard Natalte of Holmes Beach, FL; sisters, Merna M. Grabin of Ft. Dodge, IA; Beverly J. Bland of Lebanon, PA; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
