Judy Lorraine Krueger, 73, of Glenwood, Iowa passed away September 23, 2023 in rural Glenwood. She was born June 24, 1950 at the Montgomery County Hospital in Red Oak, Iowa to Robert and Lois (Carlson) Hossle.
Judy attended Whales Elementary School northeast of Emerson and graduated from the Red Oak High School with the Class of 1968. She then furthered her education at Iowa Western Community College in Clarinda, Iowa receiving her associate degree in music and education.
On August 16, 1970 she was united in marriage to Robert Krueger at the Methodist Church in Red Oak. They were blessed with two sons, Brian and Scott. They lived in various towns where Robert’s job had taken them before making Glenwood home in January of 1980. She was employed at Park Place in Glenwood in the dietary department until she retired. Judy was an avid piano player and enjoyed sewing. She had a special love for her cats, and you could often find her out walking the dogs in her spare time.
Preceding Judy in passing were her parents, and brother-in-law Harold William (Dorothy) Krueger. Survivors include her husband Robert Krueger of Glenwood, Iowa; sons Brian Robert Krueger of Glenwood, Iowa; Scott Lee (Jenni) Krueger of Glenwood, Iowa; grandchildren Abby and Maverick Decker; brothers and sisters Linda (Jack) Gambuto of Reno, Nevada; Joe (Jodi) Hossle of Red Oak, Iowa; Sandra (Clifford) Flemming of Rolla, Missouri; Mike (Jamie) Hossle of Emerson, Iowa, Lori (Donald) Jones of Emerson, Iowa; sister-in-law Marlene Church of Omaha, Nebraska; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
