Kayla Ann Schoening, 12, of Glenwood, Iowa, entered into eternal rest on September 1, 2008 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was born September 6, 1995 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Andrew Paul “Mike” and Patricia Ann “Tricia” (Oetken) Schoening.
Kayla’s parents shared that, “When she smiled at you, it would make your day and there were so many times that her smiles and laughs could make us smile and laugh so much our cheeks would hurt.” She will always be their beautiful, precious princess.
Preceding Kayla in death was her paternal grandfather, Jack Wilson.
Kayla is survived by her parents, Mike and Tricia Schoening; brothers, Taner, Taylor and Tayten Schoening; sister, Kiersten Schoening; grandparents, Tom and Frances Oetken; Lois Pitchfork all of Glenwood, Iowa; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
