Dear Merilee and family,Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time!! Kenny was a wonderful man and gave so much to his family.friends and the city of Glenwood!! He will be missed!! God Bless you all!
Marilee and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. He was a wonderful Chief to work with and a true pleasure to have across the hall in Communications. My very favorite memory of him however, is not in either of those roles but in his role as Santa Claus who was kind enough to bring joy and Christmas spirit to 2 little boys who were sick with chicken pox and wouldn’t have been able to see Santa any other way.
Thank you for sharing such a wonderful person with all of us.
With deepest sympathy,
Clair, Connie and family
To Marilee and family, my prayers and thoughts are with you. I have so many great memories of Kenny. He was a great leader and made a huge difference in the safety of Iowa citizens by his leadership in emergency communications legislation and APCO. He will be missed by many!
My thoughts are with you and your family at this time of sorrow and change Peace be with you
Marilee and family, I was so sorry to hear about Kenny”s passing. My Love and prayers go out to you and your family. I am so sorry for your loss. It is never easy to lose someone who you love, but I hope and pray that all of those good memories will sustain you and give you peace. Kenny was a GREAT man who made me feel welcome in the community 35 years ago. (He and Marilee were great people who told me keep Laurie after school whenever she talked too much…, and EVERYONE knows how Laurie liked to talk!) I had lost both of my parents before coming to Glenwood, and I loved being around them.
Dear Marilee, Wendy, Laurie and family. I’m so sorry to learn of Kennie’s passing. My heart and prayers are with you at this time. May the love of those around you help you in the coming days.
I also have great memories of Kenny. Most of which are of his
teasing me. I will remind you of those when I see you. He was really funny besides being all the memories of him shared above.
Please know I am thinking of all of you and so grateful for have knowing such a great guy!
“Fats” as he always called me teasingly, but true.
My Love,
Connie Jo DeLashmutt Phelps

I hope good memories comfort you in this time. May God and your family and friends surround you with love. Love, Kay
Marilee and family: We are so sorry for your loss. Kenny was a great guy. I really enjoyed working with him for so many years. Regan and I both appreciate all that Kenny did for Regan. You both made great friends for Regan! You also helped many others too. God bless. We will miss him.
Marilee and family-
What joy and wonderful welcome you provided us with in Glenwood. We still love telling people about the great fireworks display the Chief of Police in Glenwood provided for us. Kenny was a good man in so many ways.
Marilee and Family:
Our prayers and thoughts are with you and the family.
Kenny had an outstanding record in community service and will be missed by all.
Also really enjoyed our talk during my 50th year reunion two years ago. The stories were great.
