My deepest sympathies to Lin’s family. I had the pleasure of working with Lin for 16 years at GRC. She had a heart of gold. My granddaughter, who is 16, still sleeps with a blanket Lin made when she was born. I will always remember her kindness when I lost my husband. Rest easy dear friend You will be missed.
My Dearest Lyn,
I am so grateful to have known you. You were always so kind to me. When I was going through cancer in 2005, you were right there helping me in any way you could. You made me a tie blanket which I cherish, as well as a self-care basket complete with an oversized bath towel, just so I would be comfortable, warm, and taken care of during a very rough time in my life. Your heart was always in the right place and I will never forget that! I only wish I could’ve seen you one last time. However, you were right there to love and support our sweet Kate during a very tough time in her life, even in the middle of Covid and with all you were going through yourself…which is why seeing you then was precious enough of a moment to remember you by. May your family find peace and strength here without you. Please give our beloved, Tanner the biggest of hugs for us, as well as all the others we’ve been missing! Love, Julie
Becky & Chris: Your Mom was a very special lady. I worked at GRC and had to fill in as a switchboard operator. She sold Avon & let the booklets be off to the side to peruse during a shift at the switchboard. When I ordered from her she brought it to me after her shift. That was much appreciated. She would visit for a little while & had interesting things to say. It was awful to hear she didn’t want to see anyone because of her appearance. She had an amazing complexion. Dear Lin, I am glad you are no longer in pain
Lin was a great person I worked with her at GRC and she was so nice and kind and a caring person and always had a smile on her face Lin will truly be missed and her family has my deepest prayers
I had many conversations with Linn at GRC at the switchboard. We solved all the problems of the world on more than one occasion.. Linn always had a great smile which made me feel welcome.
My condolences to Linda’s family. I worked with Linda at Mutual of Omaha, she was a very nice person, she would stop and talk to me anytime I saw her. She will be missed.
