Luella Emelia Wriedt, 99 of Glenwood, Iowa entered into eternal rest on May 3, 2005 at Glen Haven Rest Home in Glenwood, Iowa.

Mrs. Wriedt was the daughter of Rudolph Deitchler and Paulina (Jens) Deitchler. She was born Aug. 20, 1905 in rural Glenwood, Iowa. She attended country school several miles from her home, and was baptized in infancy and confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church in Mineola, Iowa. On Nov. 27, 1924, she was united in marriage to Joe W. Wriedt of Glenwood, Iowa at the home of her parents. They lived on the farm three miles south of Silver City, Iowa until they moved to Glenwood, Iowa on Dec. 9, 1950. After moving to Glenwood, they joined the Grace United Methodist Church. She belonged to United Methodist Women, Glenwood Garden Club and Friendship Club. Luella loved to crochet and play cards. She entered Glen Haven Rest Home in July of 1993.

Mrs. Wriedt was preceded in death by her husband Joe on March 14, 1973, her parents and one brother. She is survived by her daughter Eldeane & husband Mike Quintieri of Glenwood, Iowa; grandchildren Marcia & husband Lee McMurray of Omaha,NE and Rod & wife Gina Klindt of Glenwood, Iowa; Great-Granchildren Jason & wife Lisa Abboud, Marc McMurray of Omaha, NE, Brad and Dustin Klindt of Glenwood, Iowa
