Melody Ann Lindstrom, 53 of Omaha, Nebraska formerly of Glenwood, Iowa passed away December 5, 2020 in Omaha. She was born April 17, 1967 in Glenwood, Iowa and was the daughter of Mary and Russell Wright. Melody was raised in Glenwood and attended Glenwood High School. She married her high school sweetheart Todd Lindstrom on November 6, 1993 in Omaha.
Melody enjoyed following politics, buying lottery scratch tickets and was passionate about her cats. Todd and Melody fostered many cats over the years and took extraordinary care of them. Her compassion for her family was also confirmed. She was a devoted caregiver and loved all of her nieces and nephews. If they needed anything, Aunt Mel would pull it out of her purse. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Preceding Melody in passing were her parents. Survivors include her loving husband Todd Lindstrom of Omaha; mother-in-law Carol Lindstrom of Bellevue, Nebraska; siblings Richard Saville of Glenwood; Vicky (Rod) Allen of Missouri Valley, Iowa; sisters and brothers-in-law Cindy Klein, Tom Lindstrom both of Omaha; Chris Atwood of Glenwood; Terry Lindstrom of Omaha; many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the Nebraska Humane Society.

The world will be less shiny without Melody in it. We were classmates, and while we didn’t see each other often anymore, it was always a thrill to see Melody and catch up. Her smile and laugh were infectious. Much love and hugs to all of Melody’s family. She will be missed & she will be remembered in special ways at our class reunions. Gretchen
Melody was a year ahead of me in school and years later I would see her and Todd occasionally at their friends/ my brother in laws and we would always catch up. Melody had a great smile and such an infectious laugh. We could always just pick up wherever we left off and visit about anything. She was so passionate about her cats and I know she helped guide my sister more than once in caring for some strays. She was a loving person and showed that in many ways. She will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you Todd also her nieces, nephews and family.
Our thoughts and our prayers are with you Todd.

I met Melody during the Pacific Junction Bicentennial celebration. We were friends from that moment. We had so much fun skating shen we were young, When I moved to Germany we would talk on the phone a lot. We would argue like sisters, but I loved Melody she was a part of my family. My prayers are with Todd and the family.
