Nancy Lauenroth, 86 of Glenwood, Iowa entered into rest on August 13, 2017 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was born March 17, 1931 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Corlis Frank and Nel Mae (Mitchell) Grubb. Nancy graduated from Central High School in Knoxville, Tennessee and attended business college in Louisiana. It was there that she met her future husband Frank at a square dance.
Nancy was united in marriage to Francis Joseph “Frank” Lauenroth on August 1, 1952 in Leesville, Louisiana. To this union five children were born, Mark, Jimmie, William, Scott and Frank. Nancy enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her family.
Preceding Nancy in passing were her parents, husband and two sisters. Survivors include her children, Mark (Vicki) Lauenroth of Glenwood, Iowa; Jimmie Maughmer of Azle, Texas; William Lauenroth of Las Vegas, NV; Scott Lauenroth of Glenwood, Iowa; Frank (Sheila) Lauenroth of Glenwood, Iowa; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; extended relatives and many friends.
There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be directed to the family.

Sorry to hear about Nancy my prayers are with all of you Danny sends his to from Texas, I have not seen Nancy for awhile but I always enjoyed her she was pretty special.

Thinking of Nancy today on her birthday. I hadn’t realized she had passed, so sorry to hear this. I met Nancy at Elvisfest at Bluffs Run Casino. She was a wonderful person and missed her when they stopped having them. Know she is looking down smiling. She will not be forgotten
