Norma B. “Polly” Haynie, 80, of Glenwood, Iowa, entered into eternal rest on April 16, 2011 at Tabor Manor in Tabor, Iowa. She was born May 29, 1930 in Malvern, Iowa to Lloyd Benjamin & Beatrice Susannah (Smith) Wilson.
Polly was raised around Malvern and Strahan and resided in rural Glenwood for over 45 years. She was a homemaker to her sons, Larry and Timothy and enjoyed sewing and cooking. Polly later became a part-time employee at Caseys. She was a member of the Waubonsie Church and enjoyed volunteering at the Mills County Storehouse.
Preceding Polly in death were her parents, 2 sisters, 2 brothers and infant granddaughter, Shannelle Dee Haynie. She is survived by her sons, Larry & wife Cheryl Haynie of Stanton, Iowa; Timothy & wife Deborah Haynie of Shenandoah, Iowa; 4 grandsons, 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred & husband Harry Conrad of Red Oak, Iowa; extended relatives and many friends.
