Opal Lorraine Dickersbach, 96, of Glenwood, Iowa entered into eternal rest on Nov. 29, 2005 at Glen Haven Home in Glenwood. She was born Nov. 29, 1909 in Columbus, NE to Samuel and Amy (Hurst) Boyer.

Opal graduated from Glenwood High School. She was employed at the Glenwood Resource Center as a dietitian until her retirement. She was united in marriage to Clyde Melvin Dickersbach on Jan. 1, 1951 in Glenwood, Iowa. Opal was a faithful member of Grace United Methodist Church and U.M.W. She was devoted to her church, family and loved her home.

Preceding Opal in death were her parents, husband Clyde in 1989 and son Richard Wheeler and two brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Karen and husband Lester Reynolds of Omaha, NE, two grandchildren, Michael Kennedy and fianc̩ Renee Pletka of San Francisco, CA; Amy & husband Brian Young and daughter Ashley of Omaha, NE, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
