Patricia Kay (Fisher) Briels, 67 of Glenwood, IA entered into rest on June 8, 2014 in Council Bluffs, IA. She was born Nov. 9, 1946 in Cass County, IA to Morris & Bernadine (Porter) Fisher.
Patricia was united in marriage to James Lewis Briels on March 18, 1982 in Denver, CO. Patricia was a fantastic artist and also loved to read. She was employed with the Glenwood Community School System and later with Kid’s Place as a staff coordinator until her health no longer permitted.
Preceding Patricia in death were her parents and sister-in-law, Kathleen. Survivors include her husband, James Briels of Glenwood, IA; children, Trisha Ann (Kevin) Bonnell of Denver, CO; Jamalyn Jo (Bruce) Morris of Atoka, OK; Tambra (John) Morris of Atoka, OK; Tomalea Briels of Atoka, OK; James Andrew (Christine) Falkena of Tabor, IA; Tracie Renee Briels of Atoka, OK; James L, (Shelli) Briels, Jr. of Malvern, IA: Thomas R. (Tycee) Strawmier of Bellevue, NE; 28 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Fisher of FL; extended relatives and many friends.
Interment will be held in the Noble Center Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established.
